Multi-Sport Pro Standout Janice Masters Joins WNFC Front Office


Today the Women's National Football Conference (WNFC) announced Janice Masters will be joining the league in the capacity of Assistant Commissioner. Janice will be supporting newly announced league Commissioner Dr. Camille Filardo-Kraft. The duo will work to develop structures, compliance and support for teams and players in the WNFC. Together they will work with the executive team to continue growing the fast growing sports brand.


Masters is a multi-sport professional athlete from Pittsburgh, PA with many years of experience in women's tackle football. Janice is a 3X national championship member of the Pittsburgh Passion, where she played for 11 season. Prior to playing Professional Women’s Football, she tried out and was invited to play in the Inaugural Season of PFX Athletics, a Professional Softball League started in 2006.

Janice was a 4-year standout at Bethany College, leading her team to 4 consecutive PAC Conference Championships - earning herself 4-year All-Conference Awards, Multiple All-Region Awards, and PAC Player of the Year in 2004. She continues to hold multiple records in batting at Bethany, notably on the books for home runs, hits, doubles, and RBI’s. Just this year, Janice joined her 2002 teammates in being welcomed into the Bethany College Class of 2020 Hall of Fame.


After graduating from Bethany College with a Bachelors Degree in Sports Management, Janice went on to work towards a Masters Degree in Athletic Coaching Education at West Virginia University, while becoming the Assistant Softball Coach at Bethany.


After her tenure there, she embarked on her professional career where she has grown to become a Partner & Director of Client Services at C-leveled, a full-service strategic marketing group in Pittsburgh, PA.
