2021 WNFC IX Cup Championship Weekend Events

WNFC Organizers have coordinated a weekend full of events that kicks off with the Girl's High School Flag Football Invitational and Fan Fest at the Sports Academy at the Star in Frisco, Texas and even includes an OL/DL camp on Sunday morning for some last minute football and bonding before departing to our respective homes.










Girls High School Football Flag Football Invitational, Friday, Aug. 6, 6 pm, Sports Academy at the Star

We kick off our fun filled weekend watching and cheering on the future of the sport as girls from across the country compete in a flag football tournament.










 


IX CUP Fan Fest Friday, Aug. 6, 6 pm, Sports Academy at The Star

Fans of all ages can head to the Sports Academy at The Star for an interactive football experience. IX CUP Fan Fest is a family-friendly event that includes games and stations for you to test your football skills, clinics, pep rallies, a live female DJ competition, special guest appearances, autograph signings, and exhibits celebrating women’s football and its history.





 

The WNFC Championship Breakfast Saturday, Aug. 7, 11 am, Hilton Grapevine

Sponsored by local Dallas-based Vicky’s Cakes, the Championship Breakfast will highlight our 2021 season with a panel of NFL alumni, WNFC executives, Media, and leaders from Riddell and Adidas, who will discuss the growth and development of women in sports (football). The event will culminate with the WNFC year-end awards (MVP, Rookie of the Year, Coach of the Year...).


 

Adidas All-Pro Game Saturday, Aug. 7, 3 pm, Apogee Stadium


1251 S Bonnie Brae St, Denton, TX 76207

Sponsored by adidas, the 2nd annual WNFC All-Pro game will feature 100 of the top women’s football players in the country competing in 7-on-7 matchups, and a full 11 on 11 football game at Apogee stadium. NFL Hall of Famer, Former (Dallas Cowboys/SF 49rs) Charles Haley will be a special guest coach for the event, and Team USA Head Coach ... and ... are the head coaches for the Atlantic and Pacific Conference Teams.





 

2021 WNFC IX Cup Championship Game Saturday, Aug. 7, 7:30 pm, Apogee Stadium

Sponsored by adidas and Riddell, the 2nd annual WNFC IX Cup will determine which team in the WNFC will be crowned the National Champion with an undefeated regular and post season. Both the Texas Elite Spartans and the San Diego Rebellion are entering the game undefeated, and both teams are DETERMINED to leave the same. The live broadcast, sponsored by Promus Diagnostics... The champions will leave the game with the coveted 5' tall IX Cup Championship trophy.





 

Championship Bash (21+) Saturday, Aug. 7, 11 pm, Jamie's Rhythm Bar

The day will culminate with an epic BASH hosted by World-renowned party promoter Gary “G” Davis. The most talked-about Saturday night destination in DFW, will host the women’s football party of the year. Get ready! Get Tickets.






 

OL/DL Clinic Sunday, Aug. 8, 9 am, Sports Academy at the Star

OL/DL specialists @logantt72 and @coachseawright will spend Sunday morning with linewomen from across the WNFC that want to improve their technique with NFL caliber training. Register.

The weekend will commence with a light brunch and reflections on the IX Cup Championship weekend as well as the seasons behind, and ahead of us.
