WNFC Women's Football is Taking Over The Star in Frisco, June 23-25

Updated: Apr 29, 2023

Thousands of fans from around the world are set to celebrate IX CUP

Women's National Football Conference (WNFC), the country's most prestigious and highest level of women's tackle football, is marking its fourth season with a giant celebration in the heart of Sports City USA.

Last year's Championship weekend was an epic celebration of women and girls in sports. In 2023, the league is going bigger and better.

The theme for this year's weekend of events is to "Bring The City Out For HER!"

“I want to thank the City of Frisco, Dallas Cowboys as well as our sponsors and partners for running it back this year. Bringing brands together who believe in equity in sports such as DICK'S Sporting Goods, Adidas, and Riddell Sports shows the City and "Dem Boys" that the WNFC and women's football mean business. We are expecting our biggest attendance year ever, as mega influencers get in on the mix. This will be a weekend worth attending for everyone in the metroplex and beyond. Football is for everyone, and IX CUP Championship weekend is the epitome of that. I cannot wait for the world to see these women ball!” - Odessa Jenkins - WNFC Founder/Chairwoman

Several new events have been added this year including an invite only VIP Dinner to discuss the Advancement of Women in Sports, Tech and Entertainment, DICK'S Sporting Goods Kick Off Pep Rally, Celebrity Flag Football Game hosted by Jelani Greene (ajgreene15) and Lauren Fitzmaurice (lolofitzmo), a FREE all girls youth football clinic, the league’s first ever Adult Women's FLAG football Bowl Game, and a Sunday Night After Party.

League organizers are going bigger with some of the weekends most popular events including more capacity for Championship Breakfast/Awards Banquet, 2nd Annual Got Her Back “Girls Ball” Charity Gala, and Fan Fest.

Adidas is returning as the official on field apparel sponsor weekend, outfitting top 100 selected high school girls’ flags players for the Girls All-Star Flag Tournament, the 2023 WNFC All-Pro participants, and the championship teams.

All events will be hosted at The Star in Frisco. Host hotel was awarded to Omni, at The Star in Frisco. Rooms are going FAST, book now.
