Following a record-breaking 2026 season, the Women's National Football Conference invests in ticketing technology to convert explosive digital growth into fans in the stands.

The Women's National Football Conference (WNFC) today announced a new multiyear partnership with vivenu, the ticketing platform for live entertainment enterprises, marking another major step in the league's strategy to accelerate attendance, strengthen fan engagement, and build a more commercially powerful future for women's professional football.

The announcement follows a milestone season for the WNFC, which recorded 63% year-over-year attendance growth from 2025 to 2026, welcoming more than 31,000 fans. The WNFC is the most advanced professional women's American football league, made up of 16 professional teams across the U.S.

Having generated nearly 230 million social media impressions so far in 2026, the league has demonstrated its ability to capture attention at scale. Now, the WNFC is investing in technology to turn that attention into ticket sales, repeat attendance, and lasting relationships between the teams and their communities.

"We've proven that millions of people want to watch women play football. Now our focus is getting more of those people into stadiums," said Odessa "OJ" Jenkins, CEO of the WNFC. "Our digital growth has been extraordinary, but impressions alone don't build sustainable sports businesses. Fans having fun, bringing their families, investing in their local teams, and coming back season after season, that's how we build the next great sports property. vivenu gives us the tools to make that happen."

Building the Next Generation of Women's Tackle Football Fans

Through the partnership, the WNFC will leverage vivenu's ticketing technology to deliver a more seamless, modern purchasing experience while empowering its teams with stronger data, insights, and commercial capabilities.

The platform will support the league's ambitions to:

  • Simplify the fan experience: Make discovering, purchasing, and managing game tickets easier through branded digital ticketing experiences.

  • Convert digital audiences into ticket buyers: Connect the league's growing social media reach to measurable ticketing campaigns and local market promotions.

  • Drive repeat attendance and greater loyalty: Build stronger direct relationships with fans through first-party data, targeted communications, and personalized offers.

  • Expand revenue opportunities: Enable teams to explore season tickets, group packages, premium experiences, and sponsor-driven promotions.

  • Strengthen league wide operations: Provide a scalable ticketing foundation to support attendance growth across all 16 WNFC markets.

From Building Awareness to Accelerating Business Growth

The vivenu partnership reflects a broader commercial evolution underway at the WNFC. After years of investing in athlete storytelling, digital distribution, and national brand recognition, the league is increasingly focused on converting that momentum into measurable business growth.

Attendance represents one of the WNFC's most significant opportunities; not only as a direct revenue stream, but as the foundation for stronger local sponsorships, merchandise sales, community engagement, and long-term team value.

The league's 2026 attendance increase signals growing consumer demand for the live women's football experience, while its digital reach demonstrates the scale of the audience still available to convert.

Travis Smith, Regional Vice President, Sales for Sports & College, North America at vivenu, added, “WNFC recognizes the value in transforming its legions of online followers into fans in the stadium. By using vivenu’s platform, WNFC has the opportunity to build on its brand and storytelling prowess and convert online followers into fans who show up on matchday.”

As the WNFC prepares for its 2027 season, the league is prioritizing attendance growth, local market development, and a more connected fan experience as central pillars of its next stage of expansion.

With vivenu, the WNFC is positioning itself to turn one of the fastest-growing audiences in women's football into something even more powerful: a growing community of paying fans, filling stadiums and fueling the future of the game.

"The opportunity in front of us isn't just to grow an audience. It's to build a business around that audience," Jenkins added. "We're being intentional about the partners, technology, and commercial infrastructure we put in place. Every new fan who walks through our gates represents an opportunity to create a lifelong relationship with women's tackle football."

Stay tuned for the official release of the 2027 season schedule and the launch of season ticket sales.
