WNFC Championship Weekend is Back to Take Over DFW, June 21-23, 2024

Thousands of fans from around the world are set to celebrate IX CUP

Women's National Football Conference (WNFC), the country's most advanced level of women's tackle football, is marking its fifth season with a giant celebration in DFW, culminating with championship Sunday in the heart of Sports City USA (Frisco, TX).

Last year's Championship weekend was an epic celebration of women and girls in sports. In 2024, the league is going wider, bigger and better with events across the DFW metroplex.

The theme for this year's weekend of events is "Balling In Love!"

League organizers are going BIG with some of the weekend's most popular events including more capacity for Championship Breakfast/Awards Banquet, 2nd Annual Got Her Back “Girls Ball” Charity Gala, and Championship Sunday all day at on June 23 at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco. This year's events includes a collaboration with the league's new partner Gridiron Football. The partnership was announced with plans to redefine the future of girls and women in football. This strategic alliance unlocks the full football pipeline for female athletes – from youth to pro, flag to tackle - and creates a fertile ground for the economic growth and sustainability of women's football.

The full weekend of events will be streamed live on CaffeineTV, and DAZN.

Adidas is returning as the official on field apparel sponsor, outfitting the top 100 Varsity Girls Flag athletes, the 2024 WNFC ALL PRO's , and the IX Cup Championship teams.

The biggest NEW event of the weekend stems from the league's announcement of the inaugural season of WNFC Flag. The first WNFC National Flag Champion will be crowned on June 23rd. Tournament play kicks off June 6-8 in Las Vegas, NV and Jackson, MS, aligning with the WNFC Eastern and Western Conference finals tournaments. Each WNFC team is also fielding a flag team to participate in the inaugural season.
