In a weekend packed with elite athleticism, pro-level competition, and ESPN2 spotlight coverage, the Women’s National Football Conference (WNFC) will pause for a moment to shine a light on the hearts, minds, and excellence behind women in the game.

📍 Omni Frisco at The Star | 🕗 Sunday, June 22, 2025 | 8:30 AM CT

Held on Sunday, June 22, at 8:30 a.m. inside the Omni Frisco at The Star, the gleaming headquarters of the Dallas Cowboys, this event is the soul of WNFC Championship Weekend.

Where Greatness Gets Its Flowers

For one morning, before opponents collide and the roar of competition fills Ford Center, the focus shifts to legacy. This is the moment the WNFC crowns its very best: MVPs, Rookies of the Year, Coaches of the Year, and those whose impact has transcended the scoreboard.

These awards aren’t handed out lightly. They are earned over months of sacrifice, game tape, and underdog moments turned into unforgettable highlights.

Here, the stats meet the stories. And the stories? They belong to the women who are proving, play by play, that professional women’s football belongs on the biggest stages.

Introducing: The WNFC Legacy Award

This year, the WNFC will also unveil a new honor: The Legacy Award, a recognition reserved for individuals whose behind-the-scenes work, unwavering belief, and bold action have helped shape the very foundation of the WNFC.

These are not just allies. They are architects of access, using their platforms to advance women in football, as players, coaches, fans, and future leaders. Two recipients will be announced live during the show.

More Than a Ceremony

What sets the WNFC Championship Breakfast apart isn’t the ballroom decor or the impressive guest list. It’s what happens when women and girls in football look up and see themselves reflected in the highest honors the sport can offer.

It’s visibility. Validation. Victory.

As WNFC Founder Odessa Jenkins puts it:

“This isn’t just about who had the best season. It’s about showing the world what excellence looks like when you refuse to be left out of the game.”

Presented in partnership with WNFC Weekend sponsors Dove, adidas, Riddell Sports, and Breakfast Event Sponsors Hachette Book Group and Hendricks Gin

Whether you’re cheering in the crowd or watching from your screen, the WNFC Championship Breakfast is where the journey meets its moment.
