Whether she is attacking from her nickel position, creating turnovers, delivering a momentum-shifting return or taking a direct snap in the Kansas City Glory’s Wildcat offense, Snowden’s impact can be felt across every phase of the game. After a remarkable season defined by production, versatility and relentless effort, Snowden has been named the 2026 WNFC Most Valuable Player.

The honor adds another milestone to an impressive career for the Nashville, Arkansas, native and Kansas City Glory standout.

Snowden finished the 2026 season ranked seventh in the WNFC with 52 combined tackles, including 19 solo tackles and 7.5 tackles for loss. She also intercepted five passes, returning them for 87 yards and two touchdowns. Her ability to read opposing offenses, close quickly on the football and turn takeaways into points made her one of the league’s most disruptive defenders.

Her game-changing ability extended well beyond defense. Snowden led the WNFC with 245 kickoff-return yards and two touchdowns on six returns, averaging more than 40 yards per opportunity. She added 130 yards and another touchdown on four punt returns.

Altogether, Snowden finished fourth in the league with 52 points and tied for sixth with seven total touchdowns, extraordinary scoring production for a player whose primary responsibility is stopping the opposing offense. Those numbers illustrate why she became one of the WNFC’s most valuable and dangerous athletes.

Snowden announced what kind of season was ahead during an unforgettable Week 1 performance. She recorded 10 tackles, four tackles for loss, and three interceptions, returning one for a touchdown on her way to being named WNFC Defensive Player of the Week. It was an early statement from a player capable of taking over a game from anywhere on the field.

Her path to becoming the WNFC MVP began long before she wore a Glory uniform. Snowden grew up playing backyard and playground football with her male cousins and friends at school. A lifelong athlete, she developed her competitive instincts in those informal games, learning how to hold her own and embracing the physicality of the sport from an early age.

In 2021, Snowden began looking for a new athletic outlet, something that would keep her active while restoring the competition and camaraderie she had missed. A friend connected her with the Kansas City Glory, and Snowden attended a practice as a potential wide receiver and linebacker.

Although she initially arrived as a possible two-way player, the Glory quickly discovered that Snowden’s instincts were particularly well suited for defense. About a week before her first game, she was moved to nickel. The position allowed her to use her combination of speed, strength and awareness to defend the run, cover receivers and create turnovers.

What began as a way to stay active soon became a major part of her life. Over five seasons with Kansas City, Snowden developed into one of the WNFC’s most complete and respected players. Her career accomplishments include multiple All-Pro selections, WNFC Defensive Player of the Year honors and recognition from her Glory teammates and coaches. In 2026, she again earned First-Team All-Pro recognition at linebacker, further establishing herself among the league’s elite.

Winning Overall MVP carries special significance because it recognizes more than a single performance or position. It reflects Snowden’s influence throughout the season and the respect she has earned beyond her own locker room.

Away from football, Snowden works at McCray Millwork as a forklift driver and door associate. She is also a devoted dog owner who enjoys taking her two dogs on hikes whenever her schedule allows. Music, puzzles, relaxing at home, and spending time with friends provide balance away from the intensity of the game.

Football first gave Snowden the outlet she needed. In return, she has given the game and the Kansas City Glory a standard of excellence built on toughness, versatility, and undeniable impact.
