Women’s National Football Conference Names New Commissioner

The leadership of the Women’s National Football Conference (WNFC) has selected Dr. Camille Filardo-Kraft as the league's next commissioner. Filardo-Kraft is no stranger to sports leadership. Her experience has spanned junior college, four-year college, as well as the graduate level and the NFL, which afforded her the ability to interface with all levels of athletes.

Over the past 20 years she has served as an Associate Athletic Director (Cal State University), Senior Woman Administrator, Title IX Deputy, and College Dean. Concurrently, she taught as an adjunct professor while she created multiple businesses. Most recently Dr. Filardo-Kraft served as the administrator of the NFL Substances of Abuse Program.

Commissioner Kraft earned her BA in Psychology from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA where she played for the women’s soccer team. She has earned advanced degrees in Athletic Counseling (MS) from Springfield College, Springfield, MA, and Administrative Leadership in Higher Education (EdD) from the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, CA.
