The Women's National Football Conference has officially entered a new era of commercial growth and athlete performance.

Today, the league announced a partnership with DRNX, naming the company as the Official Hydration Partner of the WNFC through the 2027 season. The agreement marks a major milestone for the league as its first official hydration and beverage partnership, opening the door for expansion into one of the most important categories in global sports business: food and beverage.

As women’s football continues its rapid rise across professional tackle and flag football, the partnership signals growing confidence from consumer brands looking to align with the next generation of athletes, fans, and culture drivers.

Built around clean-label performance hydration, DRNX was created to challenge traditional sports drink standards with a sugar-free formula designed for modern athletes. The company is co-owned by NBA All-Star LaMelo Ball and has quickly emerged as a disruptive brand focused on performance, recovery, and athlete lifestyle.

For the WNFC, the partnership represents far more than product placement. It reflects the league’s continued evolution into a nationally recognized sports property capable of attracting brands across critical consumer categories.

“This partnership represents an important step forward for the health, wellness, and performance of our athletes,” said Odessa OJ Jenkins. “Our players compete at the highest level in this sport and deserve access to partners that prioritize how they fuel, recover, and care for their bodies. DRNX believes in the possibilities surrounding the growth of women and girls in football, and that alignment matters to us. This is about more than hydration, it’s about investing in athletes, supporting performance, and continuing to build a future where women in football are seen, valued, and fully supported.”

The partnership will integrate DRNX across multiple league platforms and marquee events throughout the season, including:

  • Full sideline hydration support for WNFC tackle and flag football events

  • Product integration during WNFC Championship Weekend

  • DRNX-supported end-of-season performance awards

  • Community activation through the league’s “Got Her Back” initiative impacting girls nationwide

  • Digital storytelling and athlete-focused content throughout the year

The announcement comes during a period of significant momentum for the WNFC, which continues expanding its national visibility through streaming, sponsorship growth, live event attendance, and broadcast distribution.

As the business of women’s sports accelerates, partnerships like this reinforce the growing commercial power of women’s football and the brands investing early in its future. The WNFC and DRNX will officially launch with activations taking place across league games, community programming, and Championship Weekend events at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas.
