Passing Stars

Melyse Brown (Mississippi Panthers) is firing on all cylinders, currently leading with 652 passing yards, 4 touchdowns, and a solid 84.2 passer rating. She’s already outpaced her 2024 performance (567 yards) and is gunning for Rasan Gore’s impressive 2023 season total of 1,282 yards. Hot on her trail is Karen Mulligan (Jersey Shore Wave), posting 621 yards but battling consistency issues with 5 interceptions already. Keep an eye on Michelle Angel (Texas Elite Spartans) who boasts an exceptional 62.3% completion rate, 541 yards, 10 touchdowns, and the highest QB rating in the league at 106.7.

Ground Game Leaders

The battle for rushing supremacy features Kesz Wesley (San Diego Rebellion) with 343 yards and 5 touchdowns, closely trailed by her teammate Regina Escoto Macias (316 yards) and Destanie Yarbrough (Texas Elite Spartans, 313 yards). Wesley trails behind last year’s leader Adriana Gutierrez (510 yards, 2024) and Jasmine Ballard’s exceptional 2023 record (779 yards, 9 TDs). The rushing title is still wide open, and Week 6 will be critical.

Receiving Standouts

Chicago Winds’ star Dajour Miles (241 yards, 6 TDs) is setting a blistering pace, narrowly trailing last season’s standout DAjah Scott (288 yards in 2024). Jersey Shore Wave's Madison Grayson (207 yards) and Alexis Parrotta (192 yards) aren’t far behind and could significantly close the gap in their upcoming matchups.

Defensive Dominance

Madeline Violette (Chicago Winds, 43 tackles) has been a tackling machine, slightly ahead of the 2024 tackle leader Alnisa Thomas (41 tackles), though chasing the astonishing 73 tackles set by Kelly Whitehead in 2023. Meanwhile, Laurisa Hollenshed (LA Legends) leads with 3.5 sacks, matching pace with past top sack artists Kassidi Wynter. Keep an eye on ball-hawk Myla Somerville (Washington Prodigy), whose 3 interceptions put her squarely in the mix with previous interception leaders.

Special Teams Spark

Brittani Lusain (San Diego Rebellion) dominates the punt return game with 108 yards and a touchdown, outperforming previous seasons. Brittany Jones (Denver Bandits) leads kickoffs with 192 return yards, matching past leader Mary Woodard’s 2024 efforts.

Teams Vulnerable to Stats Padding

Teams like Florida Avengers, Houston Mambas, and Oregon Ravens have consistently struggled defensively, offering golden opportunities for top performers to rack up substantial stats, mirroring past season trends.

Exciting Week 6 Matchups & Players to Watch

  • Texas Elite Spartans at Denver Bandits: Watch Michelle Angel and Destanie Yarbrough closely as they aim to exploit Denver’s defensive gaps.

  • Tennessee Trojans at Kansas City Glory: Nashi Catron and Maria Fautali look to surge forward, boosting their offensive numbers.
