Nausicaa Dell’Orto Joins Advisory Board of the Women’s National Football Conference (WNFC) With Focus on Flag and Women’s Football Content

Dallas, TX, Jan 3, 2022 – Women’s National Football Conference (WNFC) is headed into season 4 as the most competitive and professional level of tackle football available for women. Featuring 17 teams and the best players across the country, the start-up league is a thrilling sports property that combines football and entertainment with a commitment to equity, inclusion, and social responsibility.

The league is pleased to announce global football phenom Nausicaa Dell’Orto (Italy) the newest member of the Company’s Advisory Board.

The board consists of an impressive list of independent advisors spanning the sports and entertainment industry. Featuring former 5X NFL Executive of the Year Scott Pioli, 49rs all-time great Patrick Willis, to former Fox Sports executive Patrick Crakes.

Dell’Orto will join the board with targets set on growing content and expanding gameplay into flag football.

In March, the league announced the Global Football Development Program (GFDP), kicking off in 2023, and headed by Gaby Knobs.

The league takes another giant step toward creating access for all women and girls to the sport of football by adding genius storyteller, and Football star Nausicaa Dell’Orto

Nausicaa Dell’Orto is all-in on the fight to bring the sport of football in all forms to women and girls. Dell’Orto is an international model (gracing the cover of Vogue, via her sponsorship with Jordan), Emmy-nominated storyteller, founder of the first female American football league in Italy, and captain of the championship-winning Italian National Team. Nausicaa has helped inspire the expansion of the sport for women throughout Europe and the US and is looking to continue championing the sport through her board advisory role.
