The Faces of a New Era

The 2026 season produced some of the most competitive football in league history. Undefeated contenders emerged. New stars exploded onto the scene. Veterans reminded everyone why they're legends. No athlete embodied that rise more than Washington Prodigy quarterback Ashley Clark.

Clark finished the regular season with 835 passing yards and nine touchdowns, leading one of the WNFC's most explosive offenses and earning the highest vote total among all quarterbacks. Every time she stepped on the field, something special seemed possible.

Meanwhile, Atlanta Truth quarterback Renee Langlais helped transform a first-year franchise into a playoff contender, while Texas Elite Spartans quarterback Michelle Angel quietly delivered one of the most efficient seasons in league history, throwing 13 touchdowns with just three interceptions while helping guide the defending champions through another dominant campaign.

The quarterback position has never been deeper. And now they'll all be on the same field.

Ground Games Built Different

If defenses had nightmares in 2026, they probably involved Maria Fautali. The Kansas City Glory superstar bulldozed, sprinted, and danced her way to a league-leading 666 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns while averaging an absurd 9.7 yards every time she touched the football.

Every carry felt like it could become a highlight. Every highlight felt like it belonged on SportsCenter.

Atlanta Truth star Kendra Gabriel and Texas Elite Spartans powerhouse Tara Thomas weren't far behind, each carrying their teams through critical moments and establishing themselves as some of the most dangerous backs in football.

Now imagine all three sharing the same All-Pro stage.

The Playmakers Fans Can't Stop Talking About

Every great league has its stars. Every great era has its game breakers. In 2026, that athlete may have been Atlanta Truth receiver Zoe Jackson.

Jackson led the WNFC with 391 receiving yards and six touchdowns, routinely turning routine plays into viral moments. Whether stretching the field, winning contested catches, or taking over games in critical situations, Jackson became appointment viewing.

Washington's Shaquanda Gainey averaged an explosive 22.8 yards per catch, while Los Angeles standout Miriah Lopez continued to establish herself as one of the league's most dangerous offensive weapons.

If you're looking for athletes capable of changing a game in one snap, start here.

Defenders Who Changed Everything

While offensive stars grab headlines, championships are often won by defenders who refuse to be denied. No defender commanded more respect in 2026 than Golden State Storm linebacker Leilani Caamal.

Caamal shattered expectations and set a new standard for excellence, leading the league with 90 total tackles while becoming one of the most dominant defensive players the WNFC has ever seen.

Her impact was impossible to ignore. Her motor never stopped. And now she enters All-Pro Weekend as the Defensive Vote Leader for the entire league.

The San Diego Rebellion's defense also left its mark on the season, surrendering only 39 points all year. Brittani Lusain terrorized offenses with 15.5 tackles for loss, while Texas Elite Spartans pass-rushing sensation Whitney Palmer led the league with 7.5 sacks and anchored one of the greatest defensive units in WNFC history.

Then there's Atlanta Truth ballhawk Desiree Conner, whose six interceptions made quarterbacks think twice before throwing her direction.

Back-to- Back All-Pros.

Making an All-Pro Team is difficult. Making it twice in a row is a statement.

The 2026 All-Pro roster features a collection of athletes who have now earned back-to-back selections, proving their greatness was never a one-season story.

Ashley Clark once again earned recognition among the league's elite after guiding one of the WNFC's most explosive offenses for a second consecutive season. Michelle Angel joined her as a repeat selection, continuing to build one of the most impressive résumés in women's football.

Kansas City superstar Maria Fautali returned to the All-Pro Team after another dominant rushing campaign, while Los Angeles playmaker Miriah Lopez and Washington deep threat Shaquanda Gainey continued to cement their place among the league's most dangerous receivers.

In the trenches, Tammie Moore, Kourtney Purham and Zay Dollente once again proved why they are considered among the best leaders and linemen in football. Defensively, San Diego's Brittani Lusain, Texas Elite's Whitney Palmer, and Mississippi's Shardonay Jenkins continued to terrorize offenses and create game-changing moments.

These athletes are no longer simply having great seasons. They are building legacies.
