Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability
In return for being allowed to participate in the Women's National Football Conference, and related activities, including all events occurring with the Women's National Football Conference (WNFC), I agree not-to-sue and release the WNFC, its football clubs, and each of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, owners, shareholders, officers, directors, partners, agents, representatives and employees, successors and assigns (collectively the “WNFC Entities”), the sponsors of the WNFC for, from and against any and all present and future liabilities, obligations, damages, losses, claims, demands, costs or expenses (collectively, "Claims") that may be made by me, my family, estate, heirs, or assigns for property damage, personal injury, or wrongful death arising as a result of my participation in the Event including, without limitation, in connection with transportation to and from events, wherever, whenever, or however the same may occur. I understand and agree that the Releases are not responsible for any injury or property damage arising out of my participation, even if caused by their ordinary negligence.
I understand that participation in the WNFC involves certain risks, including, but not limited to, serious injury and death. I am voluntarily participating in the league with knowledge of the danger involved and agree to accept all risks of participation. I consent to the administration of first aid and other medical treatment in the event of injury or illness.
I understand that health care coverage is not provided by the WNFC or WNFC Entities and that maintaining health care coverage throughout the season is my personal responsibility.
I also agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees for all Claims arising out of my participation in the WNFC and all related activities and any medical treatment.
I further agree that any legal proceedings related to this waiver will take place in the state of Texas.
Personal Conduct Policy
Expectations and Standards of Conduct
Athletes, coaches, staff, and/or volunteers found to have engaged in any of the following conduct may be subject to discipline. Prohibited conduct includes but is not limited to the following:
Actual or threatened physical violence against another person, including dating violence, domestic violence, child abuse, and other forms of family violence
Assault and/or battery, including sexual assault or other sex offenses
Violent or threatening behavior toward another employee or a third party in any workplace setting
Stalking, harassment, or similar forms of intimidation
Illegal possession of a gun or other weapon (such as explosives, toxic substances, and the like) or possession of a firearm or other weapon in any workplace setting
Illegal possession, use, or distribution of alcohol or drugs
Possession, use, or distribution of steroids or other performance-enhancing substances
Crimes involving cruelty to animals as defined by state or federal law
Crimes of dishonesty such as blackmail, extortion, fraud, money laundering, or racketeering
Theft-related crimes such as burglary, robbery, or larceny
Disorderly conduct
Crimes against law enforcement, such as obstruction, resisting arrest, or harming a police officer or other law enforcement officer
Conduct that poses a genuine danger to the safety and well-being of another person
Conduct that undermines or puts at risk the integrity of the WNFC, WNFC teams, or WNFC personnel
WNFC Athlete Eligibility Policy
Expectations and Standards of Conduct
Eligibility to compete as an athlete in the WNFC requires that the athlete is over the age of 18, and female.
Individuals who are under the age of 18 can apply for an eligibility waiver. In order to be considered for a waiver, the individual must
Sign an active player agreement with an active WNFC team
Pass a player eligibility test with an active WNFC team
Sign all waivers and agreement
Receive written authorization from parent or guardian
Individuals assigned as “female” at birth are regarded as girls and women (female).
Individuals undergoing a sex reassignment of male to female before puberty are regarded as girls and women. Individuals who have had a sexual reassignment before puberty are considered to be female and will be allowed to compete in the WNFC as an athlete.
Individuals undergoing sex reassignment from male to female after puberty will be eligible to compete as an athlete in the WNFC when all of the following conditions have been satisfied:
Surgical anatomical changes have been completed for that individual usually including external genitalia changes and gonadectomy;
Legal recognition of their assigned sex has been confirmed by the appropriate official authorities; and
Hormonal therapy appropriate for the assigned sex has been administered in a verifiable manner and for a minimum of four (4) years to minimize gender-related advantages in sport competitions
The supervising physician responsible for the management of a transgender individual’s care must provide the following evidence:
That surgical reassignment has been completed for that individual
That the appropriate hormonal therapy has been ongoing continuously for at least a four (4) year period when gender reassignment is considered complete
In the absence of a supervising physician for the transgender individual, the evidence must be presented as follows:
A report from an accredited specialist (ordinarily an endocrinologist) to confirm that external genitalia changes and gonadectomy have taken place for such individuals; and
That the appropriate hormonal therapy has been ongoing continuously for at least a four (4) year period when gender reassignment is considered complete
A transgender male (referred to as an “FTM athlete”) may be eligible to compete as an athlete in the WNFC so long as the athlete has not begun testosterone hormone therapy related to gender transition. An FTM athlete that has begun testosterone hormone therapy related to gender transition shall be considered a male athlete and ineligible to compete in the WNFC as an athlete.
The use of testosterone or other androgens commonly used to assist in the transition from female to male are prohibited from use by WNFC athletes. By virtue of the anabolic nature of these compounds, they are not allowed, nor is a Therapeutic Use Exemption granted for such use for anyone. This applies to any and all medical conditions which might be treated through the use of androgens. Please see the Team Agreement for the banned list of drugs.
WNFC Social Media Policy
Expectations and Standards of Conduct
For social media including WNFC and associated teams, content must be relevant, meet specified goals or purposes, and add value to the WNFC brand.
All content must conform to all appropriate laws and regulations.
Content must be polite and respectful. All messaging should maintain the same tone as if interacting with someone in person on behalf of the league.
Editorial Control
WNFC is authorized to suggest the removal of any content that does not meet the policies of the aforementioned or may be illegal or offensive.
Personnel Policies
Athletes, coaches, volunteers, and staff associated with the WNFC and associated teams are expected to follow the policies set forth below to provide a clear line between you as the individual and you in association with the WNFC.
Social networking sites have blurred the line between league/team and personal activity. In many ways, today’s social media pages have replaced the written letters of the past but are more visible. Your social media posts—even if you intend them to be solely personal messages to your friends or family—can be easily circulated beyond your intended audience. This content, therefore, represents you and the WNFC to the outside world.
athletes, coaches, volunteers, and staff will be held personally liable for any commentary that is considered defamatory, obscene, proprietary, or libelous by any offended party up to and including, WNFC when under agreement with the league or a member organization.
athletes, coaches, volunteers, and staff are prohibited from harassing, discriminating, or disparaging against any athletes, coaches, volunteers, staff, or anyone affiliated with or doing business with WNFC.
athletes, coaches, volunteers, and staff are prohibited from posting WNFC name, trademark or logo or any company-privileged information, including but not limited to copyrighted information or league-issued documents unless authorized by the WNFC.
athletes, coaches, volunteers, and staff shall use discretion in responding to users through social media and use a respectful and courteous tone.

Non-Compliance of Policy
Violations of the above policy will be enforced under athletes, coaches, volunteers, and staff personal conduct policies, discipline, reprimand, and/or suspension from participation in the WNFC.

Release of Image and Likeness Consent
I grant the Women's National Football Conference and parties designated by the WNFC the irrevocable right to use my name, likeness, image, voice, appearance and/or performance as captured by photographic, audio and/or video means (the “Product”) for release and/or reproduction in any medium for any legal purpose, including but not limited to education, training, illustration, promotion, art, editorial, advertising, and general trade.
I acknowledge that I have no interest or ownership in the Product or the copyright in the Product, and that any use of the Product may be made without compensation or notice to me. I waive any right to inspect, approve, and/or otherwise control the use of the Product.
I acknowledge that my name and identity may be revealed in the Product or by descriptive text or commentary. However, WNFC will not publish my address, telephone numbers, or email address with the Product without my permission.
