50 years later, we have much to celebrate with Title IX…but we still have a lot of work to support ongoing efforts for strong Title IX protections and enforcement.

June 23, 2022, will mark the 50th anniversary of Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972. Coordinated by the Title IX Anniversary Coalition, a group composed of Billie Jean King Leadership Initiative, National Women’s Law Center, Women’s Sports Foundation, and other key youth and community leaders, Demand IX is working with a number of organizations to increase the pace of change toward equity and fairness for all.
The purpose of the campaign is to coordinate efforts to galvanize the impact of individual Title IX Anniversary projects into one aspirational campaign that amplifies Title IX efforts and provides opportunities for public participation.
